ÉÙ¸¾×ÔÅÄ celebrated its 49th Anniversary Gala on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington, D.C. This black-tie event, which was sold out, celebrated the rich legacy of Italian Americans and their contributions to the United States.

Nov. 9, Opening Night with Jeff Bradford, doors open at 5:00 pm., Nov. 11 Veterans Day: Vietnam Wall play reading and dinner, doors open at 5:00 p.m., Nov. 23, Dinner and Dancing with Joe Turner, doors open at 5:00 p.m., Dec. 7, Poinsettia Ball, with music by Mike Dutra, doors open at 5:00 pm., Dec. 11, Unveiling Italy – A Regional Journey – Rome part 1, from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm lecture led by Paul Pacter, discussion, antipasto, dolce e vino. Italian Mass in Costa Mesa, Calif.
 
November 3rd: The 6:30 p.m. Mass will be celebrated in Italian by Father Brennan. The church is located at 1015 Baker Street in Costa Mesa. After mass enjoy food and friends in the church hall. The mass in Italian is celebrated on the first Sunday of every month.

Nov. 14: Join the NOIAW Greater Washington DC Region for a unique author talk with ÉÙ¸¾×ÔÅÄ Board Member Anita Bevacqua McBride. Chief of Staff for former First Lady Laura Bush, Anita was a 2012 NOIAW Greater Washington DC Wise Woman. She is a founding member of the First Ladies Association for Research and Education (FLARE), affiliated with the American University School of Public Affairs, and co-author of Remember the First Ladies: The Legacies of America's History-Making Women along with Diana B. Carlin and Nancy Kegan Smith. The event will take place at 6 p.m. in Upper NW Washington, D.C.

Italian American Association of the Township of Ocean
 
The Italian American Association of the Township of Ocean hosted its third annual Christopher Columbus Father-Son Breakfast at The Renaissance in Ocean Township, drawing over 100 attendees including 30 children under 18 from three Italian American organizations. The event featured speakers including Frank Orefice and Monmouth County Commissioners Thomas Arnone and Ross Licitra, who emphasized the importance of preserving Italian American cultural values, with support from multiple local sponsors including Mazza Recycling and Jamm Printing. The breakfast served as a meaningful opportunity for multiple generations to connect and celebrate their shared Italian heritage.
